Color, Shape, Mold -

Thinking about my motives..do I care most for the person and their state of heart, or do I care more about the church they attend, the activities they indulge in, are they doing "what's required?" This is what came out..it might not made too much sense..but I wanted to share it..

the world is full of lemmings each pretending to fit in, the emotion of being happy is the color they live in. they draw the shape of contentedness by doing, buying, being, acting, things that people say will cause them to enter in. they rip and mangle their being to fit the mold of imaginary bliss...the body, the grades, the job, the spouse, the popular well spoken manikin. What beauty can we find in this paradox of sin? the things we do, things we say.. all fall empty, soundless and useless...for every act is a crime committed against the fellow man... each act is done with some intent of "number one".

"What of the saved", you say "surely these are people with beauty, who's pretenses are of purest fragrance. I say, look again. The saved are drenched in blood, a savage, carnal, rape was done of the one and only Son. Indeed he died to save a wretch like me...a wretch, you see is all I am and all that you will be...candy-coated cyanide, are the frivolous things we speak. I shine, I shine, is the rhetoric we combine.. yes, indeed how you do shine, in a deeply tinted red..save the lost, feed the sheep, bring the lemmings in.. how can you save a lemming when you are still one of them..

each one is spectacular, individual pain and sorrow they bear...we bring a packaged presentation.. practiced and perfected...how do we even dare? and the beauty, where is she? the ravaged lamb has brought it in ..purest love for darkest sin. Do you want to shine?...leave the lemmings..., lead the blind....the purest love, that smallest taste..everything else is refuse and waste. Leave your practiced, perfected, candy-coated cyanide...breach the deadly gap.. leave yourself that lays a trap...enter you within ..where the bitter stench of pain and anger cripples their heart and soul. Here tread.. cautious gentle steps..find the darkest dwelling..slay the best that their fear keeps..

lay yourself down..expose the softest belly...the achilles tendon of the heart..revealing sacred love..risking the very essence of you. Here lies the key..the lemmings, the lost, the blind, the sheep ..they find the strength to leave the colors, molds and shapes....only when you leave, like a trail for birds to follow and feast upon, broken pieces of yourself...

Look, now again, so you see...the color you reflect and shine.. tinted red?...purest white?....the light that now shines from within defies all colors we'd place it in. The lamb reflecting through that light now shows no sign of horrific fight. the reeking pretense you left behind..transformed, refined...filling the world with sweetest scent...of sacrifice, abandonment, purity and passion...the greatest and holiest of love.

In Christ,
