Main Street Coffee House was born as a vision in the minds of regular guys thinking of how to create an environment where people could hang out, build relationships, etc. The reason for such a setting is that they had the even more significant concept of a church where this sort of honest, relational, come-as-you-are atmosphere was present.

The result of the dream is a non-profit, Christian-based coffeehouse which opened its doors on New Year’s Eve 2001 to a packed crowd. After one month of operation MSCH was thrust into the middle of the Olympics as Main Street became the premier downtown site for crowds & entertainment. It was all due to numerous partners coming together & believing in the concept and philosophy of ministry represented by the coffeehouse.

We welcome you, whoever you are, to enjoy the atmosphere of an authentic coffeehouse staffed by local volunteers. We have live music regularly, the best locally roasted coffee, internet access, and on Sundays at 10:30am a contemporary church service. But the most significant tangible asset in the coffeehouse is people, which is what we're really about.
